    Accessibility Statement

    Last updated · May 2026

    Section 01

    Our Commitment

Echelon Direct Care and Aesthetics is committed to providing a website and patient experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to healthcare information and services.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and continually work to improve the experience for users of assistive technologies. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project.

    Section 02

    Conformance Standard

WCAG 2.1 defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are actively working to address those gaps.

    Section 03

    Accessibility Features

Our website includes built-in accessibility tools available through the accessibility menu, accessible from the lower-left corner of every page:

    • Adjustable text size — increase or decrease text scaling without breaking layouts.
    • High-contrast color mode — improve readability for users with low vision.
    • Underlined links — distinguish links from surrounding text more clearly.
    • Readable font option — switch to a high-legibility sans-serif typeface.
    • Reset — return all settings to their defaults at any time.

In addition, the underlying site is built with:

    • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
    • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
    • Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
    • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
    • ARIA labels on interactive controls where needed.
    • Sufficient color contrast across text and UI components.
    • Responsive design that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.

    Section 04

    Compatibility with Assistive Technology

This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:

    • Recent versions of NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver screen readers.
    • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
    • Operating-system-level zoom and screen-magnification tools.
    • Voice-control software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking and built-in OS voice control.

The website may not display optimally on outdated browsers (more than three major versions behind current).

    Section 05

    Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

    • Some embedded third-party content (e.g., scheduling widgets, maps) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with our partners to advocate for improvements.
    • Older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen-reader use. We are progressively replacing or remediating these.

If you encounter content you cannot access, please contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative as quickly as possible.

    Section 06

    In-Clinic Accessibility

Our Elizabethtown clinic is committed to physical accessibility:

    • Wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and exam rooms.
    • Step-free access from parking to clinic entry.
    • Accessible restrooms.
    • Adjustable exam tables where clinically appropriate.

If you require any specific accommodation for your visit — including a sign-language interpreter, large-print materials, an extended appointment time, or a quiet waiting area — please let us know in advance and we will gladly arrange it.

    Section 07

    Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and clinic. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out — your input directly shapes our roadmap.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
